Unhappy Hello from Hampshire

Hi everybody.
Been a Honda fan for more years than I care to remember. Have had about 6 Accords starting with the 2.0litre twin cam. My wife has always had Civics. I decided Honda had lost their way a bit with the design of the Accord, although the later ones look quite good, so changed to the BMW 5 series and have not looked back. Only use the BM for long trips so get to drive the Civics a lot, up to now luv 'em. In August 07 traded a 2.0 litre sport in for a new 1.8 i shift (because I like the steptronic on the BM so much) and sad to say starting to regret it. I had already taken delivery when I found that the dealer did'nt tell me about the spare wheel sindrome, the floor mat bracket was still in it's plastic bag and the air-con did not work. Put it down to poor pre-delivery ckecks. Have been driving since August no problems, my wife loves it but I have not taken to the automatic clutch and no auto box. However all small problems compared to this hand brake fiasco, received the letter in December, took extra care to use the hand brake properly (I drive as the letter indicates anyway) but a few days ago, parked on a slight slope, put brake on without touching release button locked the car, walked away, 30 mins later found car had run back into brick wall and done £1200 worth of damage. HONDA HAVE SAID IN SO MANY WORDS GET LOST. Have a question to ask, would any one who has received the re-call letter be able to get a copy to me some how, as I have lost my original and want to aproach Honda via a different rout.
Hope my next post is more up beat.
