Just for fun...

Hi all, loving the site... thanks to all those who keep this resource up-to-date and packed with info...

Can't say thanks for the wallet busting tendancies of this very site however... Only found this site 2 weeks ago and I've already gone 'ambient blue' and 501 LED's crazy (The autobulbs boys are sooo quick - and 10% off!!) and the 6510's are in the post... my goodness !!

Here's a bit of fun for you all...

What is a 710?

A few days ago I was having some work done at my local garage. A blonde came in and asked for a seven-hundred-ten. We all looked at each other and another customer asked, 'What is a seven-hundred-ten?' She replied, 'You know, the little piece in the middle of the engine, I have lost it and need a new one..' She replied that she did not know exactly what it was, but this piece had always been there. The mechanic gave her a piece of paper and a pen and asked her to draw what the piece looked like. She drew a circle and in the middle of it wrote 710. He then took her over to another car which had its hood up and asked 'is there a 710 on this car?' She pointed and said, 'Of course, its right there.' If you're not sure what a 710 is Click Here...

Enjoy and see you on the boards! (and possibly a midlands meet - Pottsy, you aware of one???)

Cheers,

Sub.

Hi, and welcome subarup1.

I have another idea on how to spend your money
But it is only a small amount and the very best investment for you Civic. A Civinfo sticker

Is your user name a bit of wishful thinking for the future, or is it a piece of classic automotive excellence from the past.

Cheers Guys...

Trust me; I have lots more where they came from! ** Disclaimer - some of Sub's jokes may not be funny ** Just thought I’d get that in nice and early!

Foggy69 - Done! There's another 'Lady Godiver' to add to the growing list of bills as you'll note form my shiny new red name badge...

As for the P1 - wishful thinking I’m afraid! Once had an STI for a short while (the relationship was complicated!!) with ideas of grandeur that the P1 upgrade was next on the list. Sourcing a "gud en" was an issue as was the price... depreciation just doesn't happen on an RB5 / P1 / 22B etc...

Did get to drive one though (friend of a friend thing and in all honesty, all I could think of was Julia Roberts as in "Man, this thing corners like its on rails"!!) My god, what a car... serious licence loosing stuff however and at the same time as providing copious amounts of 'touching cloth moments' !!

Best left alone!

As for the Civ... Loving every minute so far and very pleasantly surprised! A year in and I still look back at my baby as I walk away after getting out... and that's a rare thing for me!

Still can't believe the amount of info on this site... really, really top job guys... Just need help / guts in tackling the fitting of my 6510’s!

Catch ya soon...
