New kid on the block

Hello! I'm Eva, from Greece. I'm the proud owner of a new Honda Civic Type S plus, night hawk black, which I got last Thursday. I've already driven 450 klms in it and it feels great!

Welcome to the foum, Eva, NHB looks great when clean but needs a bit of work to keep it that way. Plenty of good advice on here on how to keep it looking good

Thank you. I'm afraid I'm already experiencing the drawbacks of that particular colour. I washed it myself on Sunday afternoon (took me over an hour) and by the end of the day you could see the dust on it.

Still, I think it looks absolutely spiffing. Where shall I look for information on washing and polishing?

This first one is a very recent thread and is interesting to read for an NHB owner

Swirls, swirls and more swirls!

This addresses the problem of stone chips which you will inevitable encounter at some stage.

Stonechips

And this is a link commonly given to those seeking help

Polished Bliss - Car Care Products - Car Care Advice - Detailing Services

That will give you some reading to do for a start, Eva

Thank you so much for your help! I'll better get on with that reading then.

And when you have finished those

Best way to clean and wax?

Don't plan on buying any fiction in the next three months LOL !

Next stage: Utter confusion, too much conflicting advice, because everyone swears by what they have found works, so there will be a little experimentation involved, but you will find what works best for you from all the advice. It does depend somewhat on what products you can get hold of easily.
