Smile Another Irish Civic owner

Hi, got my 1.8 EXE Executive about 9 months ago. Black with Black leather. My 7th civic and the best for looks and general living day to day by far. Some niggles and will have alist for first service after reading some of the issues and suspension knocks which seem common. Is there an Irish meetup soon?? Fancy arranging one irish civic owners??

Also, anyone know of a power mod or chip to bring up the 140 to say 155 for the 1.8? Not too bothered, but if anyone knows, please drop a line.

thanks

TP

Hi So you went for the high spec EX with all the toys and leather.

From what I have seen on here, there is not much in the way of tuning possibilities for the 1.8. Probably better to save the cash and convert to a type R !

Chips for NA engines usually do so little that it is very uncommon for anyone to produce them. There is not one available for the 1,8.

There are some air filters / CAI available, although if they help or not may be debatable.

I'd love to have a Type R. I had a 2002 model for a while and was excellent until stolen, But to convert to a new Type R in Ireland costs 41k Euro, which is about 32k Sterling! Our car taxes are so heavy here that the 18k Sterling you guys are paying makes us a bit sick.. very sick.

Totally unfair!!!!!!!
