I can't wait!!!!!!

Hey all! My name is Dyfed and I am about to be the proud owner of a spanky new Civic - Test drove the 1.8, test drove the Type R (for fun!) Then test drove the 2.2 diesel - Loved the D! Bought the D!

Can't wait to officially own the D! Bought the 2.2 ctdi EX in NHB with leather and sunroof and 18" Storms and it arrives on the 24th April!

Yay!

I'll post pictures when it arrives

Thanks for the response - I totally agree, It's a great looking machine and the 2.2 goes like a rocket!

The alloys look fantastic but I hear that I may have dented ass cheeks due to the 18" factor!

I've done 31k miles on my 18" Storms and have found no dents

That puts my mind at rest!

I had visions of waddling around like a bull rider after a days travel! But I was sure it would've been worth it for the look of those alloys on that car!

Know how you feel!!!! - my spanky new EX in Blueish Silver has a delivery date of 27th April which is a sunday, so will at the dealers on the saturday or the monday.

Welcome by the way - the grin factor is well documented!

Hahaha! The 'Grin Factor' has been kicking in since I placed the order! Everytime I see a Civic on the road it starts - The corners of my mouth start to turn up then the pearly whites make an appearance and before I know it I'm chuckling quietly to myself - It really puts passengers off!

I test drove the Leon FR and it was a close call between the two - But the Civics looks edged it in the end - Somehow I know I've made the right choice...

Of course you've made the right choice!!!

I've loved the look of the Civic since I followed one down a major A road for about 20 miles, then I started seeing 1 or 2 locally and then I bought a demo car 18 months ago. But I would of liked all the 'toys' so hence a new one!!!

But I'm gonna hang on to the new one for a lot longer than 18 months....

New delivery date 30th April!!! Now I have to wait a whole other week!!

Finally!!!

I am now the proud owner of a 2.2 EX in NHB with 18" storms!

and I can't stop smiling!

So far I've done 16 miles (in my 20 min lunch break) and enjoyed every last second of it!

Roll on the weekend!
