Thumbs up Hello Everyone!

I think this site is AMAZING!!!

I'm hoping to get an '08 Type-S in July (NHB, colour coded trims, 17" Storm) so I thought might just browse the net for 1st hand experiences with the new civic and any other useful advice.

I've been reading some of the threads over the weekend and I already feel like a civic guru ... I wonder whats the sort of lead time on such a spec??? can't wait now...

Kudos to all the members of this forum for sharing your experiences and offering your support!

Keep up the good work...

Cheers All

Hi and welcome to civinfo.

Great choice of car, are you thinking of petrol or diesel?

If you contact a few of our dealers, listed in the dealers section, they will be able to give you a better idea of delivery times. You may even need to order soon for July delivery.

The colour-coding is done by the dealer, so that won't be a problem, but price will vary from one to another. £300 - £400 seems to be the norm.

BTW I agree NHB looks great with Storms

Good luck and happy haggling!!!

Thnx Guys!

Initially, I had planned on getting a Type-R but I dont think I can deal with the higher insurance cost & mileage on a long term basis (no plans of selling in near future).

I am now opting for the 1.8 Type S GT. Will contact dealer over the weekend.

Welcome to the place, I am sure you will enjoy the car and when you sign the document to buy it, then you have only one thing to do - wait - it's painful, but exciting.

Hi and welcome iam dre. Hope you enjoy your new Civic (good choice). Shame you could not stretch to the Type R. Don't forget to post up some pics once you got your baby.
