Just wanted to say hello.
I am - for the past four weeks the proud owner of a new alabaster silver 1.8 type S with i-shift (love the flappy paddles!). 700 miles of cautious running in to date- I 've only been tempted to let the vtec sing a few times so far but what an engine Previous car was a 1.6 civic SEexec with auto transmission and although the i-shift takes some getting used to and the engine clearly has more oomph I think the auto clutch is more flexible - and responsive to different driving style than the full auto. I'd be interested in hearing opinions of others who have made this comparison. If you are in Stoke and you see a silver type S - give it a flash you never know it could be me. (I'll be the one with the big grin) |

Welcome to Civinfo.
The I-shift system seems to draw split opinions on the forum, some like it and some don't - comes down to personal opiinion, I think. Take a look around the place and check out what people have said. here's one to get you started:i Shift change - new software |
