Is it a 3 or 5 door?

At least the 5 door I donīt think you can adjust...

It's one of my few criticisms. I spoke to my dealer about it. Honda won't sanction raising the seat using spacers and it looks like the only way to get an adjustable seat is to buy a driver's seat for a LHD car. It's a bit cheapskate not to have height adjustment on both seats.

Hi, I am a few weeks away from purchasing a CTR and I was wondering if there is a height adjustment on the Drivers Seat? I am a bit of a hobbit and like to ride high is the reason I ask.

Perfect, thanks mike!! is there a quite substantial height difference... I am not that short but just want to be sure. i.e. does it rise quite high and is it electric or does it have a pump mechanism

The mechanism is manual, pump as you correctly said !

I have considered trying to get a LHD drivers seat just for this reason...... seems another cost cutting excercise, my old car had the up down, slant/angle, forward back etc. etc. on both seats.

I dont know how true this is but I was once told that passenger seats dont have the height adjust on them as its something to do with the passenger airbag level. On the drivers seat not only does the seat adjust but so does the steering wheel so the bag level can be adjusted. I'm sure its to do with costs as well.

As previous posters have said, Honda wont sanction it but in theory, you could order a drivers seat for a LHD car and have that fitted, however, it would not be cheap, somewhere around Ģ1-2k I believe.

Karobonas, best bet is to drop into your dealership and sit in one, have a play about with the settings. I know it may be a bit far from you but i've got one sitting about 6 feet from my desk if you want to try it.
