Talking Eeeeekk another new one from essex

Hi All,

Just joined today as I never knew this site existed and I have been Civicing for almost 3 years, yep, got one of the first new shapes off the production line almost three years ago (55 plate). Hope I can add some help to the cause of these clever cars.

Had all the normal recalls, and a bit of trim fell off of the nsf arch first month I had it. Other than that its used for work everyday, I had a tow bar installed and it lugs my karting trailer around the UK every weekend. Only complaint is tyres don't go much past 13k and front pads at every service ( must be the towing). Its a pleasure to drive long distances and the cruise control is great for towing with. Only thing that has gone wrong was me fitting a hands free kit ( see thread under phones!!). I have just bought a second one but its a 2.2 Ex. I love the car and all its gadgets. Its a bit noiser than the ES as its deisel, but if it knocks up 70K trouble free like the ES then I'm more than happy.

Whats the Type R like? Was tempted but the kids moaned about getting in and out of a three door....little luvs.
