Another Scotland member...
Hi everyone, I've been a typical "lurker" for a few months reading up on the Honda Civic as I'm looking to change my car for something a bit different in the not too distant future.
Went for a test drive in a Civic Type R (FN2) this afternoon and really enjoyed it - managed to resist the temptation to open my wallet though! Currently drive a Mk5 Golf 1.6 (nothing too fancy but get's the job done!) but have always liked the idea of having a "hot-hatch" to play in one day. So having actually driven the car now I feel like I should at least be polite and say hello as a potential new owner! p.s. very impressed with the civinfo forum so far- it's always good to get an opinion from an owner's perspective, instead of a journalist's! Hi Mike and welcome to civinfo.
How serious are you about getting a Type R, are you just considering it at the moment as an option, do you have any other cars in mind.? The CTR is a fantastic car, you'd love it |

Thanks Dimplyred. I've been reading about the typical hot-hatch cars on the market over recent months, Focus ST, GTI ed30, etc. But there's something just a little "different" about the CTR. In a good way of course! So to answer your question I'd say yes, I'm considering it as an option, but it's at the top of the list just now! Mike |
