thanks to everyone who has helped answer my questions, especially NH Dan (good man!) as I pondered purchasing a Civic...

good news is, I've just signed the paperwork and pick up my new 4-wheeled-friend next week!

an 06 Civic EX in Galaxy Grey, leather interior. woohoo!

original price was 12995

i got 500 for p/e my old banger (i'd be lucky to get 50 for it

)
and also included are spare wheel, mats & 6 months road tax.
plus it has the executive interior (leather throughout, but not heated seats)

it's in immaculate condition, one previous owner who p/e it for an SUV but loved the Civic

ps. from the info, the dealer is probably on here looking at this message, worked out it's his sale and laughing to himself!
