Hello All. I live just outside Nottingham and I have just ordered a Civic 2.2EX with leather and glass roof as my next company car.

Pondered over the decision for ages as my choice was quite vast. Always been a fan of Honda and my final decision came down to the Civic or the Accord 2.2 Sport.
Having test driven each car one after the other - it had to be the Civic.

I have spent much time on this web site prior to making the choice. Very useful to peoples feedback (good and bad) as it gives a true picture of day to day life with the car (not some thing that you get from the sales people). Well done and thanks to all involved with the web site!

I have just had feed back from Honda on delivery timescales and they are quoting March 07

is this normal?

Don't want to sound like a moaner before I get the car but having done almost 100K in two years (not including miles on the back of a tow truck) in a French joke of a car I am excited about the Honda.

That does seem like a very long wait - what colour did you go for?

We have a section in here where John Pease (Honda dlr) is able to give ETAs for stock cars (NOT on those already ordered sorry

), and less than a week ago he was quoting mid December for a Black 2.2 EX with leather and sunroof...*

I'd get back on to you lease company

But even if you do have to wait - it'll be worth it

* without leather or sunroof, it was next week

shortened by now. Five/six months seems an awful long time. Obviously,

demand is still outstripping supply.

50,000 miles a year is good going. March 07 seems rather over the top but glad to see that the Civic is still popular as keeps values up.

2.2 diesel is great (as you have seen) so hope the time to wait is soon reduced. Leather and glass roof- spot on.

What was the french wonder machine then?
