grey99, as have most of us. Seems like Honda have moved into their territory...
Take a diesel for a nice long drive, you should like it! |

Welcome to the site! Seems to be a popular move from VW/Audi to a Civic, only had one go the otherway so far. I came from a Golf GT Tdi into the Civic, I do not regret the change.

The ride of the Civic is not as stiff as the Golf, but in no way does that mean it hates the twisty stuff, it gets on with it really quite well. But the best thing has to be the way it looks! |

coming from a series of Audis (A3, A4, TT), got to say that the biggest plus for the Civic is value for money
After that, it's a toss up as to which bit comes next room inside (especially the rear) silky smooth diesel exterior looks interior looks 5 door that looks like a 3 door discovering that you are going faster than you think (this may not be a good thing on the down side - interior isn't quite so robust as the Audi - but it's not bad (be careful of marking the dash though), and for the money, you get a lot more toys! In terms of choosing which spec - start with the engine choice (you want diesel really You can upspec most of the models towards the next 'level up', but you might actually be better off just buying the next one up anyway make a list of what you want on the car, then play on the excellent Civic configurator at honda.co.uk bear in mind that certain things (such as Xenon headlights for example) are only available on certain spec levels good luck! and welcome aboard |

If i go for one it will be a diesel, more than likely a Sport or EX do not like the glass roof on the ES. Most people comment on here about the dash marking, but my golf marked easy. Any one try the new Seat Leon before getting a civic? Also what is parking/rear vision like on the civic? |

I didn't try the Seat - missus took one look at it and walked out of the showroom...
which kinda put paid to that! parking / rear vision on the Civ is great - if you go for the rear parking camera without it, it's well, a bit more well, limited... |
