Proud new owner

Hi folks. Just popped in to say hello and introduce myself.

I have had my 2.2 EX for a few weeks now from new and loving it.

I changed my 03 Cooper S for the Honda so am missing the chuckablility of the Mini but that is about all. I'm loving all my gadgets!

I started posting on the CTR forum as I wasn't aware of a new Civic forum. It's great to have a source for any questions I might have.

Keep an eye out for my if you are in the East of Scotland.

Welcome Bull.

And happy motoring in your new baby. Don't forget to post pics - there aren't many of blue Civics in the gallery.

Hi Bull, welcome to the club.

Like you, I swapped my Mini Cooper S Works for my Civic Ex. I miss it terribly but love my Civic for lots of other reasons. Pity we couldn't keep both, eh .

Absolutely. The arrival of my little boy spelt the end of the Mini. I'll have another one day though. Probably a works as well!

I swapped my Mini for my new Civic, although it wasnt a show-off Works version
I was sad to see her go and, likewise, wish I could've kept her too. But Civics are cool too I've found.

Enjoy your car.

Like you I didn't have a Works, just a standard 03 163bhp(some say it was more like 175) standard Cooper S. They are cracking little cars and great for ***** and giggles.

I went for a Civic for a load of reasons.

1. They are so different to the rest of the pack of small family cars like golfs, Focuses and the rest. The Leon is a bit different but that interior is SOOOO dull.

2. The interior.

3. The engine, it's a cracker.

4. The amount of kit you get as standard on the EX. My company pay 80% of the car but I pay for any extras so I wanted a car that came loaded.

5. Finally, it's a Honda. I just love the image and reputation. You get Jap bulletproof reliability and innovation. I love the Civic!
