Just saying hello

I took delivery of my 2.2 EX Cosmic Grey civic in July. I've not stopped smiling since. I can't believe I have such a fantastic car.

Had not realised the problems with the HFT until I spoke to my friend on her HFT (she took delivery of a civic EX earlier this week). I had guessed it wasn't great from having to shout to be heard though I hadn't realised just how poor it is. It seems a common theme, but thanks to Civinfo one that I now know I can get sorted. Many thanks to all who contributed to the HFT debate.

I just love the way it gets attention. I was at the Knutsford services on the M6 last week and a chap had a good look round my car while I was sat in it.

My 16 year old son thinks I'm the coolest Mum in town, though the drawback is that I seem to have taken over from his Dad as taxi driver. Having said that, 3 months after delivery I am still pleased to have any excuse to go for a drive.

KR
Gwen

Still smiling

welcome to the forum (Sounds a bit Frankie Howardish) Gweneira. I think that we should be able to spot Civic drivers on car parks because they (Me included) must all walk around with a big grin on their faces

It was a bit bizzare but poor guy he was that taken with the civic he didn't realise there was a driver behind the wheel.
Says a lot about my ability to turn heads these days!
Anyway I'm still smiling and loving the car.

Welcome Gweneira.

Seems like you managed to snatch one of the last Cosmic greys.

As you said the HFT issue can now be remedied by a dealer. Shouldn't be long until yours is perfect.

Welcome young lady.

Don't forget to install that auto door locking feature.

Reckon it's a must for ladies..........and nervous pensioners!!!

Thanks Charles. Auto door locking sorted and working a treat. Have passed the tip on to my friend who is equally delighted.

Welcome aboard Gwen

I'm even 'allowed' to give me 14yr old daughter and her friends a lift in mine (oh joy )

but as you say, it's a good excuse to go for a spin

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you Whitelion. I ordered mine in May and got it in July so from the delivery times shown on the site I was quite lucky.

Still smiling after almost 3 months of 'Civic'lisation
