Howdy Partners!!

Hello! I'm sooooo excited, I take delivery of my Civic 1.8 EX (Reg 02/06)from Honda Chiswick sometime next week. I've already knocked them down by almost a grand, which I'm quite pleased with! I haven't actually signed anything with them yet, so any tips for either freebies or extra's that I should ask for would really help!

I would really like to get the studio pack or parking sensors - any tips on getting them cheap? I've also seen that there's a fix for the HFT and a new Sat Nav DVD - should I ask for these first?

Thanks for all your help!

Dan

Euh...

You signed nothing at all yet they ordered a car for you??

Some crazy mofo dealer that is imho.

Only option I'd really recommend is leather seats, rest is just fine on your EX

Well of course I signed the deposit form, I sign the rest of it next week when I pick up the car. Is this wrong? It's my first dealing with Honda and aren't too sure how they work?

Welcome moocowuk!

The car doesn't come with mats and most of us have been able to get those thrown in FOC.

Thanks for that Copycat! I shall give it a try, but as I'm thinking about getting the Studio Pack (do you or anyone else think it's worth the £850?) are they not included? Ohhh I don't know what to do, but what I do know is I can't wait to get my hands on my new toy!! After spending hours reading everyones posts here last night I've finally convinced myself I've done the right thing by shelling out huge amounts of money for my Civic.

Obviously I didn't play the game correctly.

All I got was a delivery date!

......and even that turned out to be science fiction!

.......but that thought matched the car anyway!

"Saw it, wanted it, threw a fit, got it!"

Ta for that Wooly!

I've already asked them for that and a rear wiper - but for some reason they didn't seem too happy about that? Can't imagine why?
