Greetings from Devon

Good afternoon everybody,
Just thought I would introduce myself as I have just joined today, I havn't got a Civic yet but I have my sights set on either a 1.8 Petrol or 2.2 diesel EX, still unsure about the colour at the mo.

Hello:
I joined yesterday.
The Ex is a good choice and I prefer the diesel- but horses for courses perhaps.
Black is VERY popular but difficult to keep clean. Vivid blue looks good as does the red in my opinion.
Hope the weather is sunny down in Plymouth.

Those are the very colours I am contemplating - spooky

Plymouth is very damp at the moment, although we did see the Sun yesterday!!

Welcome to the forum, herbertlott.

I'm not biased, but the NHB looks superb , and the diesel is a cracker.

Not used any oil (4800 miles), and average 47mpg, with mainly urban driving, with the odd motorway trip.

Hi Herbert, personally I think the civic looks good in all colours. I love my cosmic grey one, I think Sarahjo's vivid blue is stunning and another friend has NHB which is cool. Enjoy whatever colour you decide to go for. It took me a while to decide between cosmic grey and blueish silver.

Welcome herbert , i agree i think all the colours look good, i do alot of miles so the cdti was a no brainer for me , i think it comes down to do you like a howing motor got to have to work or are you happy with a quiet flyer thats a little laking on noise so far into my honda journey (about 600 miles ) ive been getting low to mid 50s mpg, with manly A road runs and a few good fun runs so i think its good on juice so far.

herbertlott...this is my third new Honda from Rowes and they have allways been good to deal with. They have sorted out a few little problems straight away without any hassle. Have to say though that Mrs thiswilldo went in there last week for the petrol cap door replacement which they knew about, but they claimed they did not know about the HFT fix. They phoned Honda and they told him exactly what Mrs thiswilldo had said. Asked her to make a list and will check everything out when goes in to have replacement fuel cap.

Hi. Well Plymouth will soon be full of Civics!! I ordered mine last month and am due to get it at the end of Jan (its a company car so I've had to wait for my current contract to end). I've ordered a 2.2 SE. It'll be supplied from fleet, but serviced by Rowes. Can't wait, its a late Xmas Pressie....
