Newbie to the forum and hopefully to Civic

Hi everyone,

Just like to say what a great forum!

I have been a VW Golf driver for the last 7 years (since I passed). I am now leaving the company car scheme and having a car allowance instead which means I get to choose!

I have done my research and the Civic is far and away the best car I have looked at.

Just waiting for the lease documents to be posted and then hopefully my 1.8 i-VTEc EX will be ordered.

Always good to see people prefer the Civic when they have the option to go for other cars.

Which colour did you choose?

Not chosen yet - like Alabaster Silver but also the dark blue one. Decisions decisions.......

Rubbish! I test drove the dark Civic last winter and it had horribly white sides after just a half an hour's drive on our salty roads.

I must admit, galaxy grey wasn't the perfect disguise I thought it would be. Dirt doesn't show too badly, but salt is just as visible as it was on the Nightpigeon Black I drove back then.

Oh, and behold the new sig.

Made my decision - have decided on the Royal Blue (1st choice) and Alabaster Silver (2nd choice).

Wonder what the delivery times will be for each..........

So where in Lancs will this new machine be based then?

I will not dent it by accident even if there have been some unhind Night HAWK black comments!

I don't think it matters where abouts - Lancashire is close enough for our purposes.

Sorry, I realise now those comments were not by you and also I was just interested where abouts in Lancs as I went to school there. That is all. NO HARM meant.

Just got off the phone from the lease company and they said delivery should be late Dec/early Jan
