Hi from Dorset

Having visited the site on a regular basis before I took delivery of my 2.2 ES in June I thought I had better finally join the site !
I found the site a great source of info - and having read about the recall for the power steering the other day guess what I arrived on the doorstep this morning ..... spooky eh ! I needed to share my frustration over the CD holder under the CD player that it too small to take CDs - doh !

Welcome, Merleyman.

I got my recall notice in the post this morning and have booked my car in.
Will let you know via bugs, faults, irritations how I get on! Keeping my fingers crossed that it's going to be okay ...don't like the idea of those grease monkeys touching my car and my leather seats! Not that I've OCD or anything, LOL!

Hi Merleyman, welcome to CIVINFO. It's good to read of people's problems and frustrations, even if you don't have any of them yourself (at present). At least you know what to do if they do occur.

Happy New Year.

Hello Merlyman!

I'm 'just down the road' from you in Bournemouth! Wave if you see a silver civic with non civic wheels (they come from an accord and were on the car when i bought it from local dealer). What colour is yours?

Well actually, i only went in to say hi to my mate that works there and give him a Christmas card. I had already been looking at buying a new company car as I got a car allowance in October. in fact I had already decided that I was probably going to buy a Focus.
Then
I
saw
a
beautiful
bright
red
Civic
in the showroom and was bowled over. Asked if I could sit in it. Greg was a bit taken aback but obviosly showed me and I fell in love!! I had to have one. So bought the best model I could afford, after nearly 2 weeks of G making sure that I knew what I was doing!! So there you have it..

Like lexie, I saw them in the show room and fell in love! I was 'just looking' up to that point as I wanted to change my 2 1/2 year old RAV4 and was toying with a Focus (had one before) or a Golf and thought I'll just look and see what Honda has..... one week later I had my Civic!!
