Hi from Finland
Hi guys, i have just joined in and thinking of trading my Toyota Corolla 2002 1,4 HB to Civic 5D 2007 1.8 sport. what do you think would it be good trade? i have driven my friends honda about 800km last summer and it felt much better than my old car. I got myself very good offer on trade and delivery vivid blue pearl after new year.
has there been any problems with 2007 model and any changes to 2006? Last edited by Max Dee; 16th December 2006 at 12:57. |

Tervetuloa
He asked me if he could take it to a litle spin, and two days later called me from Norway to say that he liked the car and would get him self one. He's a good friend so how could i be mad at him, and i was just glad he liked the car. |

Hey max dee, if you go for it you definately won't regret it! I Promise! I think most of the problems with the 06 model have been fixed for the 07 version.

Hello and tervetuloa!
Get mats thrown in and sell your old car privately if the dealer offers you too little. The '07 model of the Civic in Finland no longer includes a spare tyre as standard so you'll have to make do with the set of repair gunk. |

Hello max dee,
Before I was also driving a Toyota Corolla HB (D4D) and now I have the 1.8 sport. I always enjoyed driving the Corolla very much, but driving the civic is real joy... |

I have a company car, and my corolla was 4 years old, so time for a replacement. Taking another corolla wasnīt a very bad option, but I didnīt want to drive a corolla with face lift for another 4 years. Next to that I fell in love with the civic when it was released, only the budget seemed to be a problem. At last I went to the dealer for a test drive and that was a reason to call the lease company for a price... When I heard the lease price I immediate told them to order one for me

Monthly rent for four wheels at Veho is €21*, so unless you have a place for your wheels some place else, you might want to re-consider.
* In Helsinki anyway. |

Happy new year, and welcome.
You have a very nice year beggining with your civic. Is it not a problem to let your car out during finish winter ? (maybe not this year because of the mild temp here in southern europe it's 12° this morning in france Wish you the best for this new year. |

We do have pre-heaters in our cars, if we've opted to pay extra for them.
This winter has been unusually mild here too. It snowed once and I think that was in November! Right now it's about 5-10° here during the day and maybe a degree or two under 0° during some nights. Normally this time of year, we'd have temperatures like -10 to -20°C with icy roads and snow everywhere. (Well, OK, maybe I'm exaggerating a bit, but the conditions are far from normal) Now, how much was that Hybrid? Carbon foot print and all that. Seriously though, check out the new Lexus Hybrid in this months Top Gear Magazine. |
