Nice to share problems.

Just walked back 2 miles from my local dealer having left my car with non functioning filler cap.Went on the 'net to see if anyone else had the same problem and was both surprised and delighted to find this site.Apparently my problem is very common.

I had the temporary mod done two weeks ago but after today's problem the dealer tells me there is now a permanent solution and agreed to do the work straight away.

Looking forward to sharing my experiences with you all.

Crikey, I would have thought that they would have given you a lift home, or at least a cup of coffee whilst you waited for the mod to be done! Anyway, welcome to the forum and I hope this is the only problem you will ever have with your Civic.

Dealer fitted modified filler cap but in doing so disconnected the Rear Parking Sensor which I only discovered this morning when I nearly reversed into a wall!!Dealer re-connected in 5 Mins.
