Greetings from Hertfordshire

Hello all,

I'm the proud owner of a new Civic 1.8SE in Nighthawk Black and I live in North Herts. I've been visiting the site for a good while as I previously owned a 2003 Civic and the superb advice on here has really kept me informed and helped me get the best deal. I traded in my old Civic which was a great car but the new model is something else, much quicker, more comfortable and the image of the car is sky high. I've never really had a car before that generated such interest and enthusiasm.

Following advice on here I went for rear parking sensors (superb advice) and as a treat, leather upholstery which is really comfortable and looks great.

Any negatives? - No not really, I'm not very keen on the nose without the foglights, as I think the inserts look a bit cheapish but I'll keep an eye on the forum as there seems to be a problem with these foglights breaking for no reason.

I've already put the blue interior lights in the car (bulb exchange) but I'm not sure about keeping them in the front, seems a bit dim to me.

Anyway, that's enough for now. Thanks to everyone for their advice and speak to you all soon.

Thanks Allan - its funny how things work out for the best. Black wasn't my first choice (wanted Eternal Blue) but my old car needed servicing/tyres etc and to get a good price on it I had to move fast - hence NHB which was available.

Now I've got it, I absolutely love the colour and I think it really suits the car and I wouldn't change it now for anything.

Hi Andy

I see you are in Buntingford not far from me at all - be sure to wave if you see another NHB Civic on the other side of the A10!
