Hello from Holland!!

Hi everybody, another dutchman here!

Got my NHB 2.2 Sport with 18" Storms and PDC yesterday... and drove across Holland untill i needed to refuel at the end of the day, what a ride!!

I've been lurking on this forum for some months now but managed to wait w/ posting untill I got the car, the wait was painfull enough this way.

I'll be hanging around here since I'm planning some mods, eventhough it's a lease.

The list:

Fitting a pack of extreme white lights
Building in my Sony Ericsson HBH 300 bluetooth carkit
Getting rid of the 12v cable for my satnav
After 3000 km (2000 miles) i'm getting it chiptuned...

...I'll have to watch out for speeding tickets though, and I hope to lose the grin before I have cheek muscles like Schwarzenegger

Before moving to Roanne I was living in Thionville just at the border between France and Luxembourg Motorway A31 ... Huge traffic jam every week end from june to August ! mainly due to roadworks and so on. I was alway ashamed by the way we where greeting the other European when they where crossing through France !

So I was avoiding the motorway during the summer time

Been 3 days / 800 km now, and GOD, do I love this car!!

The thrill of overtaking, the amazed looks from other drivers, the 15 yr olds straining their necks and almost crashing their bikes and especially my baffled brother-in-law who said earlier "honda civic? tss, the new seat leon is way cooler!".. I just love it!

Get that 3000km's and that chip in fast!! Then call that brother in law and let him eat your dust!!! Make him swallow those words

Hi Brummer, nice to see there are so much dutch people here! And I'm surprised to spot the civic so rarely in Holland.

My brother in law was already stunned by it's power, he thought the Leon was bigger and more luxe and was also surprised to find out it was th complete opposite.
