New ES owner
Hi all,
Hoping to pick up my 2.2 ES Civic diesel (1 year old) on Friday, so excited! I've read through the forum before going for the test drive last night, and checked that all the known issues had been tackled. They had! It's an ex-display with a few thousand on the clock. They'll service it before giving it to me, and I managed to get £1.5k off the list price. Pretty good going I thought. I only realised last night that I forgot to haggle for car mats!! Dammit. They are providing rubber ones but... c'mon, I don't wanna ruin the car for that. Will go back to them today but as I've already signed... pah. He quoted me £60 but I've read that includes fitting, so might just go for the £47 "fit them myself" option. Really impressed on the test drive although the model I drove had low-profile 19" alloys which were NOISY and the ride was really rough. Thankfully I won't be getting those! Anyhoo. Hello. I'm new. |

Ohh yeah, weekend includes a burn... umm.. drive to my parents and probably a spin up Loch Lomond side... ohh I cant wait.
I'm currently driving a... wait for it... 206 1.4 diesel Pug! It's fairly low spec too so I'm wondering what'll thrill me more, the drive or the toys!! |

Another Scottish newbie...maybe enough of us now to have a scottish meet. Enjoy your car, it's fab. My OH mostly drives ours, but I smile even when I see another civic. |

Got it, and it's ... AMAZING!! I can't get over how good it looks, how good it is to drive and I'm off to bed so I can get up early and hit the road!

Do the interior blue light upgrade, it'll give you an excuse not to go to sleep. You'll stand at your bedroom window unlocking and locking and unlocking and unlocking and locking and unl......... you'll get the message. Enjoy your new car.
