Hi all
looking forward to picking up my new civic 2.2 i cdti ES alabaster silver.
As this is my first new car any advice on dealing with the sales people, ex gap insurance etc.
looking forward to useing this fourm

Hello dunc welcome to the forum plenty of advice on here on what to look for on picking up your spaceship, gap ins, shop around, get a few quotes.

Welcome. DON'T take the gap insurance. Politely tell them that you can get it for half the price on the internet, and see if they match it. In fact, click on one of the banners on the site and see how much it costs, and you can be forearmed. Once you get the lowest price, go to the AXA page and get them to price match and print it out. Tell the dealer that you'll do it if they beat that quote. If you don't want to bother with the gap insurance, ignore the above, although it's a good idea in principle I think.
