Question Hi from Marlow, Bucks. Which Civic-TypeR or S?

Hi All,
I'm in the process of deciding on my new car and looking at both the Civic TypeR and S (2.2D).
I love the look of the TypeR but probably don't need all that power so think the 2.2D might do.

Well i only discovered this site a couple of days ago and already it's answered most of my questions. Like how can I get a TypeS and change the front grill (too Cyclops for me!), interior dash (too shiny) and gear lever.

I'm going to test both cars back-to-back tomorrow so will have a better idea then.

Stewart

Stewart, you should enjoy both of the cars. The R comes into its own when being driven hard, while the diesel S gives a silky turbine like shove in the mid range. It will be a tough call (still don't know what I'd go for!)

Test drove both the TypeR and S Diesel and the TypeS wins it for me. It just does the same job but with less effort. (See my other thread in the buying forum).

Just ordered it today on drivethedeal.com. Got to wait until July for delivery!!!!!!!!!
