Hey Jon

Welcome to the site. I think you'll find Milano Red is the best colour and looks really good with Storms too

Looking again, I can just see the bear on your dash in the first picture.
I think Honda missed a trick not adding the bear to the optional equipment list.
A great addition to your car

Hi Burnside - no problem, they are the Honda roofbars but without the clamps, are you getting the standard or the GT type S, as the glass roof on the GT reduces the load capacity to 35kg (I think) so you may need to get the clamps as well.

There are some better pics that tomthumb took on his 5dr here:
Roof Rack photo's

So far I have been very happy with them and leave them on the car all the time. My only criticism over the thule bars is that the are a lot shorter, other than that they are well worth the money.

PM me if you want any more details

I have never used roof bars, but I would have thought that they would be a significant drag and increase the fuel consumption considerably if left on when not needed.

Supprisingly not in my experience, we had a jazz before the civic and I used to take the bars on and off all the time but it always seemed to return around 42mpg with or without, even with 3 boats on the roof I used to get around 40mpg. You do get a bit more cabin noise though.
