Just a quick introduction from myself

Hi I've just purchased a 6 month old Civic 2.2 cdti EX with leather and the studio pack (in champagne silver).

I wanted to say hello and thank everyone for the extremely useful information on this site that helped me choose this great car.

I think the local dealer has already sorted most issues; the HFT seems to work OK; the fuel filler cap opens; however, I've heard a noise from the rear (a couple of knocks which go away after a few secs) when I set off from cold. I'll ask the dealer if the rear shocks have been replaced.

BTW I live in Lincoln

It was probably mine, in the Lincoln Honda dealership on Outer Circle Road.

Looked nice in our car park last week as the only Civic, until another one appeared next to mine, even in the same colour. Lost it's exclusivity a bit

No the one I saw was in Ruislip dealership.

It it more rare than the other colours I think I have only seen 1 other on the road
