Hi Peeps!
New member to your very useful and informative site. I will be picking up my new champagne silver 2.2i - CDTi ES 5 door on Wednesday.

Looking forward to it and learning/sharing tips with you guys and gals.

Welcome to the forum Civicpete. You and Obo will be beside yourselves with excitement waiting for your Civics. And you must buy a Civinfo sticker. Be very careful when you put it on the car. Instructions (with pictures) are elsewhere on this site. Be sure to post your first impressions, both of you. Enjoy!

Picked up my new Champagne Silver Civic ES last night. Love the way it drives. Don't like the view through the back window but will get used to it. Wife likes the panoramic roof. Had the 'Supagaurd' exterior and interior protection (£295). Didn't have the rear parking sensors fitted but I am picking up lots of options from this great forum. I am also running it in as advised by the info from this site. The interior is lovely. Havent seen it in the dark yet but can imagine it's 'cool'! I think I want blue footwell flood lighting now!! (am I getting Civicitus?). Thanks to all for the tips and advice I have picked up so far. I will post any experience and info as and when.

All you have to say is "Cor, there's an extra bit below the rear wing to look out of!"
