Glad to be here!
Hi All
I have just ordered my brand new Type S with all the boys toys (I'm 42, so it helps to make me feel younger Why a Civic? Well - and sorry to if this is boring - but I'm now on my 3rd Hyundai Coupe. It's a V6 and a great drive, still nice to look at but far to heavy on the pocket for running costs, so I've gone for the 2.2 CDTi Civic. But the real clincher was value for money. Until now, nothingI saw remotely matched the Hyundai - leather, 5 yr warranty, climate control, cruise etc all come as standard and you feel like you get an awful lot for your cash. The Civic - although a bit more expensive, gave me the same feeling. And the drive is fantastic. So here's to many years of Happy Honda motoring! Roy |

Another Type S owner joins the ranks. Welcome aboard.
What colour have you gone for, the superb Vivid Blue, or one of the other slightly less attractive hues PS I am slightly biased on the colour by the way |

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome!
Foggy, I went for the Milano Red in the end. I've had four silver cars on the spin and fancied something different. My wife thinks it's my mid-life crisis emerging! Czechplastik, I'm really looking forward to getting the new car, but will be a little sad at losing the Coupe. It's a great car - but I won't be sad to see the back of my sky-high fuel bills and awful residuals! I've only been offered £7K by the garage as pt-ex - that's 8K lost in two years Roy |

My neighbour has got one of those things and it seems as though he always has a loan car out, as it is rarely there!
So I doubt if you'll miss yours either. 'sno comparision really. "Bad weather always looks worse through a window!" Charles H. |
