Hello New Civic Owner
hi thought i would say hello . recently joined the civic owners club with a 2.2 ctdi in cosmic grey ,after having a 2.3 v5 golf very pleased with my purchase. Had the typical faults rear shocks petrol cap etc . My local dealer is fitting a ipod kit free of charge for me due to the grief i had when buying the car, ie rear shock problems etc , any one got the ipod kit fitted if so what do you think ,is it as good as they say or would a fm transmitter do the same job

hi all by the way my model is the es diesel and by the way am very impressed with its performance . Thanks to everyone for making me feel welcome!
not very impressed with the response to the ipod issue , i wonder if my dealer is getting a newer version because this ipod delivery as been on hold for 8 weeks due to being out of stock , but reading this forum you reckon honda stopped producing these on aprill 16th 2007. The only good thing is im not paying for it myself. I would also like to fit the blue ambient lighting can you buy this kit elsewhere or only from honda at 88 pound plus vat , also is it worth fitting thanks deeny |

Welcome to the forum deeny.
Lots of people on here have the blue ambient lighing, if you look in the how to section there are alternatives available if you want to save a few quid. |

I have heard that quite a few people are moving away from Golf to Civic.
