Hi All,

After several months of debate with my company and one aborted order I have finally received confirmation that my Royal Blue 2.2 EX is coming on Monday!

Don't let anyone tell you there's a supply problem. I finally ordered mine just over two weeks ago. As its through a lease company I assume they have access to stock not available to all dealers? My mate at work who's been through the same process gets his on Thursday in NHB which is a total wait of just over two weeks from order to delivery!

Been watching this forum during these last few months of frustration which has kept me going. Thanks everybody.

Really can't wait for Monday now.

Might be the colour. I was told by the dealer I test drove thru that some colours are in short supply. What did you go for?

Blueish silver EX with black leather & glass roof, I have the list of all colors and they all said 30th April in same spec, mine has been a complete farce you can read about it here... Fuming...!!!! LOL

I still dont know when I'm gonna get the car now!

The dealers have a lot to answer for. I think the large lease companies must bypass the dealer network.

Nice spec though. Wish I could have gone for leather pack but my employers wouldn't stretch to it.

It'll be worth the wait.

I think you're lucky. Ever since I got mine, all the company car people in the office want one, but apparently it's £3 per month too much!!!
That's how I like it, don't want it too common in the office car park

I cant do without leather with 2 dogs and 2 cats to ferry to vets on a regular basis plus dogs for walks and a bf with obsessive compulsive disorder the civic seats look like traps for fur & hair so leather is a must to just wipe down.

I love the look of the civic cloth seats though I'm not sure I'd be able to be bothered to look after them after the first few months and they'd be a proper state!

I've got three kids and a chocolate labrador. God knows what state the seats are going to be in after 3 years!

You've definitely made the right choice.

That's the problem with company cars. If its not on the list its out of reach. If I were them I'd offer to pay the extra £3 myself!

I think in my company, the Civic is a really popular choice because it gives a perfect combo of looks, speed, Gizmos and is really cheap on company car tax too. Not everyone catches on luckily so I've still got some exclusivity.
