Well,
so far it's driving fine but ... The arm rest on the drivers door is already looking worn from where I rest my elbow (less than 200 miles) The brake discs look awfully brown, almost rusty. The rear camer is pretty much useless in the rain (it fogged right up). I'm not sure whether the last two are normal, or whether I need to go back in to the dealer. |

Mine are always rusty. I believe that it is because that that type of steel gives a greater stopping power than stainless steel Should have paid the 7k and got the ceramic ones! "Tesco's are now doing HP sauce, 10p a month over two years!" Charles H. |

The Brake discs are in Graphite cast Iron (Cheaper to produce than steel but with better results), which is prone to surface rust, will be cleaned next time you will use your bakes. Just noticed that parts in the channel tunnel and in the london Underground are made in the same material For the rear camera, just clean the lense and put some Rain-x on it. It will protect it. For the interior cleaning use only vacuum for the mats and microfiber for the dashboard, nothing else or you will scratch it ! Last edited by l-noel; 30th May 2007 at 15:35. Reason: Adding infos |
