Greetings from the Principality of Yorkshire

Hello chaps and chappesses

Just found your site yesterday and I am impressed with the content.

I have had a 2.2 type S for about a month now and am surprisingly pleased with it.

I say surprising because I came from a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 8 which I had had for 3 years and so I was concerned as to how I would cope deficient of 2 driving wheels and 135bhp!

I have to say that I am enjoying my civic very much and if anything it seems to actually get from a-b quicker than the evo! or maybe because that's because I never timed all my journeys previously

Like the majority of people on here, I am finding that I could do with just a few more horses, the brakes are not what I am used to, I don't rate the ICE very highly (although I am glad I didn't invest in the Bassworks system ) and after Recaros and stiff roll bars I find the lateral movements a bit disconcerting - a few quid though will have it all sorted .

I am a big Jap Car fan and have owned many nice J cars over the last few years, with hopefully many more to come.

I look forward to getting into banter with some of you soon - don't take me too seriously though

Thanks for the welcome.

Although I was born in West Yorkshire and am based in East Yorkshire I have lived in some civilised regions, like Manchester!
