Hi, Just ordered the new civic...now I wait!!

Hi Everyone,

Just thought I would introduce myself to everyone. I am a happy man because I have ordered my New Civic in champagne Silver here in Poland, the only problem is I won't get it until december!!!!

Why? it is simple, my lovely wife insisted on getting the light interior and the production date of the car, so I was told by the dealer is later in the year. I think the dealers optimistic date of december will be wrong so I will probably have to wait until January!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway I bought the 1.8 executive version, which is slightly different to the UK version as it doesn't have the sat nav system because the makers of the system don't unclude poland in the maps. I wasn't therefore going to pay £3000 extra for something that didn't work ( plus my lovely wife wouldn't let me!)

No i begin the long, long wait!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is because the makers of the unit don't recognise Poland as being part of the EU yet and so it isn't on the models here.

I am not exactly sure what is on the model I bought and what isn't I just know that for all the standard equipment you get it still is better value than any other car in it's class!
