Hi From Scotland

Thanks for the excellent forum. It helped me choose my new car, a silver Civic Type R GT, due for delivery end of September

Here are a few pictures, including one of the optional clear engine cover similar to the Audi R8 and Ferrari 360

Welcome!

Hope you enjoy the forum and the car, in fact I am sure you will.

Do you have the Honda part number for that optional clear hood?
Is it only available on the Type-R?

Engine Cover

Unfortunately the clear engine cover is not an option at present. Perhaps it could be added to the list of possible improvements for the 2008 model ! The Typer R VTEC engine is certainly a masterpiece worth displaying, even if only thru trick digital photography.

Nah - you're both wrong - silver is common as muck - blue is the colour......oops - sounded dangerously like a rangers fan, there.

The Glasgow contingent grows - welcome, Munro.

PS - you're not over 3,000 feet tall are you?

Silver is one of the most common / popular car colours, but not for a CTR for some reason - see survey on Civinfo site. You cant get a CTR in Blue at present, nice colour though

Lobey Dosser - a well known Glasgow landmark near Glasgow Uni. Theres a good story to this landmark.

I am only 3000+ feet tall when standing on top of a Munro (a 3000 foot + Scottish mountain - example below)

How many civinfo members in Glasgow now ?
