Hello from scotland
Hello from sunny scotland
Dont own an FN2/Civic, but do own a Honda. Thought i'd join up and see whats to do. Owned a couple of CTRs,Scoobs, Ect before the DC5. Quite like the FN2, test driven one and was impressed by its handling, not as quick as the DC5 Cheers DC5 |

Hi DC5 TEG, and welcome fellow ex Scoobie driver.
I bet going from a Scoob to an Integra was a bit of a culture shock. I dearly loved the balance, poise and grip supplied by the 4wd chassis, and moving back to a FWD car was a bit of a shock at first. It is a shame that the Impreza is such a magnet for moron drivers, I think if the car wasn't so well known to the local boys in blue, I might still have it. |

Hi Foggy. It was a WXR i had blobeye. Had it remapped to around 270-280bhp, so was a quick car. But in all honesty, drive a DC5, much better can in everyway, would out handle the WRX and is probably just as quick in a straight line(thats at 270bhp), due to the excessive weight of the WRX. The standard WRX would not even come close in the power stakes to the DC5.
I Certainly did enjoy the WRX, the build quality was second to none, and wet weather grip was immense, but in my opinion Subaru's are vastly overated, and your right, they are all too easily accessable now to the chav's, which is a shame. If i had to go 4WD again, it would be an EVO, or at the least STI PPP. This is my 3rd Type R honda, i can see past them, the sound from the engine, the Type R ethos need i say more DC5 |

Yeh there aint many about bud in scotland anyway, well in my area, there is probably a lot more than you would think but you just dont see them that often.
Couple of years ago they where very scarce and expensive, however, there are plenty of import firms now bringing them in cheaply, so no doubt the numbers will increase dramatically over the next while, and as they have ceased production folks will be wanting to snap them up, especially at the price you can pick them up at now, in such good condition low mileage examples. Its a lot of car for the money, put it that way. DC5 |
