Talking Hi - From Sunny Hastings (UK)

Hi all,

Well done on the great site, looks really good and very helpful.

I have a 2.2 CDTI EX with all the toys (sat nav, HFT, 18' alloys, camera, lighting pack) in Cosmic Grey. Shes just had her first birthday (purchased Sept 1st 2006). We have covered 30,000 miles so far and I'm very impressed, easily the best car I have owned.

I will be ordering my Civinfo stickers later today

The only thing I wish I had gone for is the leather. I'm not convinced mine is going to last the distance without the drivers seat requiring re-upholstering at some stage, plus the top of the centre armrest, plus the pseudo suede near the door close grab slot that I rest my arm on.

Yes - thats a possibility, I didnt go for the leather either, however so far 30,000 miles and one year later the interior still looks good. Although that could be because the dealer Diamond Brite coated mine before handing it over.

I agree that`s the only mistake I made in not getting leather and I certainly wish I had, but I still love my Civic

Eastbourne seems to be building up a large collection of civics charging around I assume because we are in wrinkly land and you know what a reputation us wrinklies have.

It did cross my mind.
One of the first shops you see when you walk out of Eastbourne station is a shop selling motorised buggies, wheelchairs and walking frames. Not a shop you see in that many town centre's

Yep but when we get off the buggies and into our civics (boot ample size for zimmer frame) nobody can catch us, and it all adds to the fun
