Greatings from Nottingham
Joined the forum as i fancy a diesel 2.2 EX or ES to pull a caravan.Ive had Hondas for about 15 years as below:
Honda Mk2 Civic Honda Civic Mk3 marlin Honda Mk2 CRX VTEC( i loved that motor) Honda Integra Type R( DC2) Honda Jazz 1.4 dsi sport- Current car Can anyone tell me how the 2.2 civic would get along pulling a 22 foot,1300kg Caravan |

Hi and welcome. My friends dad has a 2.2 civic with a 25 foot caravan and says it has more than enough torque to pull it up any hill but at speed can get a wobble on and thrown around by the caravan. He has to stick to the legal towing speed limits (obviously) and take it easy when windy etc.

Welcome from mansfield, from a ex caravan salesman i wouldn't recommend it, it's not the amount of torque but the weight of the car
