Another newbie saying Hello
Took me ages to find this site, I was beginning to think that no one wanted me!
Took delivery of my shiney new 2.2 SE in red on Tuesday and I'm thrilled with it. Had gone to the Honda dealer to test-drive a Type-R but my husband was right (as usual) when he said I'd hate it because you have to rev the nuts off it to get any performance out of it. So he & the salesman persuaded me to try the diesel, which I'd never even considered before. Got back from the test drive and said "have you got one in red?" SOLD! Our other car is an Evo VIII MR FQ-320 tuned to 400bhp so I like a bit of go when I touch the accelerator and the Civic has really surprised me. I'm a regular on the MLR (Evo forum) and I'm hoping that you are as helpful and entertaining as the Evo crowd. Looking forward to having a good read of the forums and will no doubt pop up with daft questions until I'm familiar with the car. Nice site BTW. |

Me too
Welcome Carina
Me too really wanted a red Type R, but couldn't cope with the constant bouncing and fidgeting even on a 'flat' motorway, and the 2.2 sure makes it a more flexible drive. |

Hi Carina, and welcome to the forum.
Senility-upon-Sea, is that Eastbourne or Worthing then, or is there another claimant to this crown |

That would be Southport TTDegs - don't get me started! I'd only had the Civic 2 days when I decided the instrument panel would look much nicer in Carbon Fibre and a Type-R gear knob would be better and it needed front fogs and ... and ... and ... |
