hi from belgium
hey guys,
i have my red type-s 1.8 since tuesday and i must say, the car is great. The engine noise under heavy accelerating is like music to my ears but if you wanna drive relaxed, the car is quiet. The handling is (too my standards) unbelievable. This is my first car and before that, i drove my parents their cars. A 2006 Audi A4 2.0 TDI and a ford fiesta 1.2 Fuel consumption is rather high at the moment (8 L / 100 km) but i'm hoping it will go down when racking op some kilometers. Also great thanks for everyone how helps in maintaining this site, before buying the car i have been reading a lot here and i havent regret buying the car. Greetz |

Hi Woette,
Nice to hear you enjoy your Civic. Don't rev it up to much in the beginning, though. Excellent choice btw, the 1.8 Type S. I was about to get one myself, but then I ran into an irresistable second hand offer. Now is 't the CTDi for me. The handling is indeed great, even without the double wishbones. Wish you lots of safe kilometers! Where in Belgium are you from, if I may ask? K. |

Well i have noticed too that at stationary rpm you can really 'feel' the engine running. Allthough my rpm isnt constant, it goes up and down
But i am not going to complain about 'feeling' the engine because in comparison with my dads 2.0 TDI, my car runs smoooooth |
