It's a dumb system, and it doesn't count for some (Q plates [engine changes, kit-cars etc.] & Private plates [like you guys get saying pretty much whatever you want, except we have to find ones that sort of make sense, like mine 'P4 FET' for Paffett] etc.).
Guessing your from Florida (from your 350z plate)??? Great part of the world (wouldn't mind moving to the US to teach in a few years, at least you guys get weapons, all we get is, well nothing really Tom |

Unknownsoldier - I moved to California about a year and a half ago but have every intention of moving back to Florida. Also the 350Z is so much nicer then the Civic, I find myself missing it every day!
Can you guys not own weapons??? Or do you just need special permits??? Looney John - It's funny you should say that! I actually had a teacher when I was 12 who would throw erasers at her students. Needless to say she was fired after she was caught doing this! FWH- Yes, the Aux jack (3.5mm jack) is standard on most of the US models. The reason I posted a picture of it was because I saw numerous threads about people trying to connect their iPods to the stereo. Very useful feature. |

Nope, we can't have guns (well nothing decent, shotgun or a rifle and the latter is
the hardest permit to obtain (three years and still trying.....) Handguns and assault rifles are banned outright Btw, teachers on US campus's will soon be allowed to carry concealed weapons if they meet the requirements.......so I am informed. Tom |

My mother is a school teacher, I'll have to ask her about being allowed to carry concealed weapons the next time I talk to her (usually few and far between). What kind of guns are you allowed to have legally (just shotguns and rifles)? |

I have a decent FT air rifle (target shooting), a catapult and a pea-shooter. LJ |
