Hello from a Civic owner in the USA

Hello all. I'm the owner of an '06 Civic in the USA. This website seems to have a few very helpful options that a lot of the forums in the USA are lacking.

Here is a picture of my civic.

Welcome to the Forum. Our Hybrid Civic looks a bit similar to that.
We dont go for cars with boots (trunk) here in the UK, generally

Hi Kelmar.

I really like the Civic coupe you have in the US - I think would sell well here! (Like I've said before, perhaps re-badged as an Integra Type R.

What do you think of our Euro Civic, would it sell in the US?

Thanks for the warm welcome. I just did a quick wash and will get more pictures up (including some interior pictures as requested).

Yes, I feel that the Euro Civic would sell very in the US.

That style would sell very well in the UK. BTW Welcome Aboard, nice to see we are getting all countries involved not just Europeans

I've searched and didn't see an answer, what's the difference between 55 and 57 plate? These are terms I'm not familiar with in the US.

Hi kelmar,

The 55 and 57 refers to the year code of the number plate.. In Britain, a new number is issued every 6 months, 1st March and 1st September.
A car registered in April 2004 would have a plate 'xx04 xxx' , and in October would be 'xx54 xx'.

So a 55 plate would be registered between 1st September 2005 and 28th February 2006, and a 57 plate between 1st September 2007 and 28 Feb 2008
