Hey Guys and Gals. Bought my first ever Honda on a 57 plate, its a Honda Civic 2.2 CTDi Sport, with an extra or two, in Milano Red, easily the best colour in my humble opinion. Love the car, goes hard for a diesel, handling not quite in the Focus / Golf bracket but who cares when it looks like it does from the inside and out. Interior is a job to keep dust/fluff free and i have an annoying knock from the fuel tank area when tank is full which gets less and less as the tank empties - until about half a tank and the knock is gone. Other than that, love the car.

Thanks - Yeah, Newcastle upon Tyne, plate gives that away a tad. Haway the lads. My Job is running the company fleet ( 140+ cars and commercials ), its a company car, we currently have 3 Civics and 1 CRV - I intend to add to those numbers. Luckily i get Demo's thrown at.

I am sure you will find a difference once you have covered a couple of k miles, the engine will loosen up nicely, and depending on driving styles you will also find your fuel consumption improves too.
Happy motoring my friend. |

Thanks for the replies fella's. I did a bit of research on the economy and it doesn't seem too grand to be honest, getting about 38mpg with a mixture of relaxed and 80+mph driving. Yeah, i love the colour. The clutch does seem to bite a tad early. I have nearly 2,000 miles on it already.
