1. Volvo 244 GL -81 - I liked it, fun on snow! Bit of a tank - but I like that.
2. Volvo 245 DL -85 - This one too, more economical than the 244 3. Volvo 745 GL Auto -89 - A little more sofisticated than the 200s 4. Mazda 626 Auto -97 - A nice car, bit slow. 5. VW Beetle -70 - A classic, not quite my cup of tea 6. MB 300TE24 -92 - Great. Expensive to run. Still have it. 7. Civic Executive -07 - Spaceship! Photos and more here: My Cars |

I am a bit of a ‘keeper’, usually only changing after 3ish years. I also don’t really have any brand loyalty, just try to buy what I fancy at the time. Have also been pretty lucky over the last 10 years, with only 1 breakdown actually leaving me stranded (Clio with a failed alternator, fixed under warranty). |

I'm only 24, but here's my car history for what it's worth
2002 - 2002 : 1993 Mitsubishi Colt 1.6 - Rolled into a field 2002 - 2005 : 1993 Mitsubishi Colt 1.6 2005 - 2006 : 2005 Ford Focus 1.8 2006 - 2006 : 2006 Ford Focus ST-2 2007 - Now : 2007 Civic Type S 2.2 2007 - Now : 2005 Skoda Fabia vRS (our first second car) Not too bad. Both of our current cars do 25k miles a year so I can't have anything silly. |

Here's mine
1979 Talbot Avenger - Blue. Absolute nail, kept 3 months. 1983 Vauxhall Nova 1.0 - Blue. First real car, slow but great fun. 1988 Ford Fiesta 1.0 - Silver dreadful colour never shone. 1991 Vauxhall Nova 1.0 - White. 0% finance. Cheap to run, got high by a lorry had to be jigged never the same. 1988 Vauxhall Cavalier 2.0 GLS - Blue. Reasonably fast, bit thristy. Boring. 1994 Honda Civic 1.5 Lsi - Milano Red. fasy and great fun. Thrashed mercilessly and nothing ever went wrong. 1993 Citroen ZX - Blue. Dreadful, have french cars. 1993 VW Vento 1.6 - White. Slow, slow, slow, boring and poverty spec. 1996 Suzuki Baleno - Blue. Felt quick until you came to stop, scary to stop on the motorway. Horrendous depreciation. 1999 VW Golf 1.4s - Canyon Red. Quality, reliable and confortable. 2000 Rover 25 2.0TD - Black. A complete shed. 2003 Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDDi - Silver. Comfortable, ok when you got in moving. Economical, very reliable. Nothing failed in 90k. Although very dull. 2007 Honda Civic 2.2CDTi - NHB. Fun, economical and good looking |
