Hello everyone - Great site!

Picked up my new 1.8 EX two weeks ago. Spent the first week getting to grips with all the gadgets. Averaged 2MPH and 14MPG in the first week. Just sat on the drive playing!

Not had a Honda since the mid 80's - early 90's. First a Civic (Mark 2?, Y reg 1982) and then 1 1985 Prelude. Kept that for 6 years, sold it to my father in law and he kept it till last year!

Then a couple of new Rovers.... Nuff said.

Then last 10 years, ran BMWs. Been great cars, but don't hold their value like thet used to, so decided a change was due. Did price up a 318 to the same spec as the Civic and it came to £28,500 list.

Only done 500 miles up to now. Enjoyed every one of them.

The only thing I don't like is the material on the seats. Lovely to the touch, but nightmare to keep clean. And they don't feel very hard waring. So I have purchased a leather interior and need help with fitting it. Please see seperate thread!

You are right about seats they are hard to keep clean. It was one of my main reasons to upgrade to a new Civic with leather.
