AUX in radio station not stayin on while connected to griffin i trip and ipod touch

Hi,to all out there,can anyone help ?

I have plugged a griffin itrip into my ipod touch and tuned to 88.04fm,the sound comes through ok,but after approx 90secs the radio then beeps and switches to another station.I have pre set the tuner and saved the station but it keeps switching.
Anyone have any ideas ?????

If there is an AF function on the radio where it looks for a stronger signal automatically then try switching it off. Might be worth turning traffic announcements off as well if you haven't already.

Yes if you have TA turned on and the station broadcasting (the iTrip) not broadcasting traffic info then after about 1 - 2 min the radio will look for a station bradcasting traffic reports.
