AUX in Connects2 Box

Hi guy`s,
I`ve got a 1.4 Civic that want to put a Harman Kardon D+P in.I`ve seen the diagram that was put up here.What i need to know is,
1.do i need a specific Connects2 Box or are they all the same.
2.do i need to know what make of stereo is in the car.
3.whats the easiest way to find out what make of stereo i have in my car.

Any tips and info are appreciated.

Connects2 Box (VHOX001) for our Civ's.

Don't need to know what make of stereo as far as I'm aware as that box is for the 2006 on new shape civ's.

Finally got my HK D+P installed.Its working out pretty good

on the downside there`s a bit of hissing coming from the speakers,its noticable on some tracks more than others.
Can anything be done to get rid of or reduce the hissing? or is it something i`ll have to put up with?
