Hi everybody,

Hello from Croatia

please if someone has solve the problem with display, we remove OEM radio an if it's possible to complete remove radio, not hideing in car to get working vent temp. and air flow fan.

We cut OEM facia and implement 2 DIN adapter on it. ( still in progress )
( see picture )

Allso we hawe modified whole door panel.

gogo, I think you do have to hide the radio in the car. It is an integral part of the data bus, all sorts of information passes through it.

I'm will try to bypass the radio, the thing is on 4 pin green connector with different voltage, and pink wire on 10 pin green connector.
It must contain voltages between 0.5 V to 5 V. when ignition is ON

I don't know for sure. But I thought you need the buttons of the radio to set the time of the clock.
Why did you use the American Civic facia and not the origional European facia?

In Croatia You can not buy any of these parts becuse the staff in Honda service center dont know to order it.
My only way to implement the 2 Din is to make custom facia, and probably i will paint the facia to piano black like the OEM dashboard.

But if you don't want to place the origional radio, how are you gonna control the time in the display?

Here is finished 2Din facia painted to Piano Black, it's looking great

Still working on removeing the OEM radio!

Good grief that's alot of speakers, and work.

I hope my plan of just fitting a second HU and by-passing the OE speaker-outs works cos if that's the alternative then I stick with burning MP3 discs.

its called VA_W202E here in australia.. wonder there is any difference..

GOGO how to put 2 DI? is that plastic on the middle of the fascia?i need help coz i bought single fascia and i need same as your photo to put normal stereo...thanks a lot...
