Built in CD svc on civic

any body out there no how the svc works on the civic cd player? i have tried to adjust it as per owners manual but it doesnt make any difference

I have mine set to the 'mid' setting.

As your speed goes up or down, the volume of the stereo should increase as you go faster, and get quieter as you slow down. The effect is quite subtle, though.

One way to check it is working is to set it to e.g. low and then when driving at say 70mph, get your passenger to change the setting to either mid or high. You should hear a definite step in the radio/cd volume.

Mines on '40' all the time, and so I rarely notice a difference, but it is discernable if you listen carefully.
